Melissa Essig from "Emme and Elle"

Melissa Essig is a mother of two young boys who works from home. She owns Emme and Elle, a local wood sign company. When she isn't volunteering at her sons school or taking care of her family she is working non-stop to fill her endless custom orders. Melissa hand crafts her signs from raw wood and through a delicate process she produces quality, unique wood signs. Her signs come in all sizes and colors. She enjoys making custom meaningful pieces for her customers. Aside from custom orders she tries to keep up on her online Etsy shop, EmmeElleHomeDecor. Melissa started working from home when her second son was born in 2012. She started making hand made baby items but over time she ventured into wood signs and quickly learned there was a demand. In 2013 she made wood signs her focus and hasn't looked back. Melissa has always had an eye for interior design. She gets great pleasure out of making unique meaningly pieces of home decor. Although most of her work is made from raw wood she loves going on hunts for treasure that need some tlc. She loves that feeling of putting something in your home and then walking by it and smiling.
